Abstract: A first survey is given by this report about the possibilities of nuclear energy for heat supply in residential craft and industry. Because the first steps are made in this field, the costs and quantities are only a first rough estimate. Nevertheless the results perrnit the conclusion, that nuclear energy will have as well economical advantages in comparison with conventional Systems for district-heating as benefits in respect of making sure power supply in the Future and in careful treatrnent ofresources. There is no differente to be found between " Nuelear District-Heating" and "Nuelear Long-Distance Energy". "Nuclear District-Heating " is a contribution to relieve the environment of pollution by using waste heat of electrieity producing processes just as "Nuclear Long-Distance Energy with its decentralized electricityproducing.
